Dupion Silk Sarees

Dupion silk sarees are woven from pure silk fabric using fine thread in warp and uneven threads are tyed in the bundle or reeled from entangled cocoons in the weft. Random slubs are created due to this process creating a special texture all over. Woven mostly using different colors of threads throughout the warp and weft, these sarees usher in a luxurious feel to the wearer. Dupion silk sarees from Prashanti add more lustre to the sarees with geometric patterns woven in thread, simple zari border in pleasing colours. These light sarees are great pick any occasion.
